Red Ajah by leilasedai Red Ajah by leilasedai
Here's a recent piece based (yet again) on Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series.

Excellent picture, very Red! I like the representation of of the Red sister holding the man (Rand?) in chains, and the different poses of him. XD

Misandry aside, I think the Greens are just as bad as the Red. Never liked either of those Ajahs, the sisters in them all seem like crazy, aggressive people. >.<

Hah! Yeah, the Greens do sometimes come off aggressive. However, they're depicted as typically treating their Warders very well. I share their sentiments. I'd love to have that many men around!

Now this is really awesome. :+favlove:
I kind of argued that I didn't like WoT in a feminist kind of way but this picture has me thinking... it's more than feministic, it's matriarchal. :XD:

Woohoo! Glad you like it and that it inspired some thoughts about matriarchal themes...

Haha, yeah, while re-reading WoT I find that some women really are dominant and awesome. The Aes Sedai were a source of inspiration for me when I was younger. How could I forget? :P

Wow! Agree with other posters that this really captures the mood of the Red Ajah in general (although thankfully not all of them are that way). The color work is exceptional.
